The Lake Tahoe Water Trail is a designated route around the 72 mile shoreline of Lake Tahoe with recognizable access points, resting places, campgrounds, lodging, points of interest and related support facilities to accommodate recreational kayakers and canoeists. Water trails exist throughout the U.S. and are proving to be a growing popular  trend in outdoor recreation.

established in 1981, is a non-profit corporation dedicated to the needs of the disabled in the Lake Tahoe area.

It is the mission of the TACCD to address the needs of disabled persons through promoting advocacy, accessibility, transportation and programs

Sonnie Imes has written and published 12 cookbooks and travel guides. (The Tastes of Tahoe and In Good Taste etc) At the tender age of 64 she started to study oil painting. The modern Grandma Moses!!! Oil painting started out as a challenge, became a passion and is now a vocation. Since the launching of her new career in January 2000, Sonnie has sold many of her paintings.
